"Bogged Down Audiences"

Films: Bog (1979)

Alias: None

Type: Ancient

Location: Swamp

Height/Weight: Slightly larger than an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: A bog is what you call a swamp horribly inept at supporting life. How this giant thing managed to stake out a dormant lifestyle for so long is beyond us. Then again, there sure are a lot of schmucks coming to provide dishes.

History: An ancient amphibious beast, this monster was awakened from its underwater slumber when some redneck doofus started chucking dynamite into the water while fishing. Naturally, he was the first to go out. Soon, the beast settled for a strict female diet.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After being confronted by authorities, the monster is run into by a car, which inexplicably catches fire upon impact. Despite still standing, the beast succumbs to its injuries. But there's a clutch of eggs still down there...

Powers/Abilities: Supposedly, this creature has a proboscis meant for sucking blood.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 1.5-This trout/frog/crayfish thing is barely seen throughout the movie, and is pretty ungainly. You can tell just by the brief glimpses that the effects budget was running on fumes.

Trivia: -This film was also known as "The Bog Monster".

-The actor who played the creature, Thomas Schwad, was cast due to being exceptionally big and tall compared to the other actors, standing at 6'7'' and weighing 247 lbs.

We're not sticking with that name. It's too redundant.

Well, this is gonna get innapropriate in a moment.

Not yet, Baltan. Your movie will come.
